Was day driving around Saxis and decided to pop in for a drink. The ambience/decor is what you'd expect for a small "fishing village". Sat at the outside "Tiki" bar, ordered a beer, (not a whole lot of choices there), and a Orange Crush. The beer was cold but the Orange Crush was not very good. The bartender and the other patrons were very friendly.

Last time we went to this place, my sister inquired nicely about why she had to pay for water she ordered (which most places is free)to the waitress. We were told the water is not good for people to drink. I am thinking , well what do you cook with? Anyway to make a long story short, the cook banished my sister from ever returning to their place .

Drove over an hour for the crabcakes and I wasn't disappointed. Everything on the menu is great, and the bartender makes a mean orange crush. Went with a group of 8 on a weeknight and had a great time. We had an early dinner and it was starting to get lively as we were finishing up as it was 80s music night. Neat place. Nice view. Lively and spirited staff.

We are happy to stay away, food wasn't very good anyway, and what about the stinky water.

We went there this week and we have never been treated so good at any other restaurant I've ever been. My husband and I like to travel and try different places to eat & we ended up here as we were on a camping trip & decided to try Captain E's. People were the friendliest and made is seem like we were regular customers and they had known us forever. Will definitely go back. FOOD WAS AMAZING. My husband said this was the best crab cake he ever had. It was made with lump crab meat and was awesome. Thank you for such an amazing time. View was amazing.

To start with the food is absolutely delicious. They have a unique selection of seafood and meat, all homemade and cooked to order from hand cut steaks to lump crab cakes. The views are beautiful and atmosphere Caribbean like. The owners treat you like family. This restaurant is great for couples, friends or families. Thank you Vinnie for the awesome experience and the fresh squeezed crushes.
